About Dharmaraj Iyer

While I was at college in 1996, a friend introduced me to Ananda and Yogananda’s teachings. Some part of me knew that this was the path I had been seeking all my life. The rest of me wasn’t sure. After completing degrees in computer science and mathematics, I went to MIT for a Master’s degree. Finishing that helped me make my choice. I moved into the Ananda Palo Alto Community and began teaching at its Living Wisdom School.

I spent 6 years there, during which time I met my dear wife, Dharmini. We first moved to Ananda Village, and after a year and half, to Ananda India, where we now live and serve.
