About Dharmaraj Iyer
While I was at college in 1996, a friend introduced me to Ananda and Yogananda’s teachings. Some part of me knew that this was the path I had been seeking all my life. The rest of me wasn’t sure. After completing degrees in computer science and mathematics, I went to MIT for a Master’s degree. I also worked as a researcher at AT&T Bell Labs, Xerox, National Semiconductor, and AOL. All this helped me make my choice. I moved into the Ananda Palo Alto Community and began working at its Living Wisdom School, teaching math, science, and computers.
I spent 6 years there, during which time I met my wife, Dharmini. We first moved to Ananda Village, and after a year and half, to Ananda India, where we now live.
I work for Harmony at Work, which offers corporate training programs based on Paramhansa Yogananda’s teachings, and Swami Kriyananda’s course, Success and Happiness through Yoga Principles. You might be interested in our blog, and our fan page on Facebook.
